Our Dublin based client is seeking a senior candidate with extensive experience around data architecture, data modelling and team leadership. This client offers an excellent benefits package and operates a hybrid model of work.

Job Description:

• Provide technical leadership and strategic guidance in the field of Data and Analytics.
• Oversee Data Architecture and recommend improvements to support business needs.
• Manage a team of skilled Data Engineers and Business Intelligence Engineers.
• Ensure alignment with Business and Technology Strategy.
• Develop data utilization strategies in collaboration with key stakeholders for enhanced business insights.
• Establish and maintain consistent processes to create scalable, high-performance data solutions including automated tests and documentation.
• Lead technical design efforts and participate in architecture discussions at a portfolio level.
• Estimate development effort and collaborate with key stakeholders on product roadmaps.
• Mentor team members in technical and business domains.
• Promote the company culture and its values.

Essential Experience:

• Over 6 years of experience in Data and Analytics with expertise in architecting, designing, and developing data solutions.
• Over 3 years of leadership experience managing direct reports.
• Knowledge around AWS platform
• Previous exposure and knowledge of Python and SQL
• Excellent knowledge around tools such as Teradata, Snowflake and Redshift.
• Proven experience in technical and architectural leadership using various data technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of industry standards, including ETL, data and dimensional modeling, and large-scale solution design.
• Experience in leading technical and architectural discussions.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment and DevOps principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Educational Requirements:

• 3^rd level Degree in a Data analytics or related discipline.
