Senior Business Analyst (Treasury/Investment)

Our Dublin city-based client is looking for a Senior business analyst who brings a wealth of knowledge in the Investment Banking, Treasury or Asset Management space. The ideal candidate would have excellent leadership capabilities as well as an analytical and problem-solving approach. This client offers an excellent benefits package and operates a hybrid model (2 days onsite/3 from home)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business users as well as both internal and external stake holders.
• Assess the data gathered from relevant sources and identify areas for improvement.
• Isolate issues and utilise best practice methods to improve processes and products.
• Interpreting business needs and converting these to application and operational requirements.
• Ability to translate financial calculations and terms to both technical and non-technical teams.
• Evaluate current risk analysis and modelling systems and utilise expertise to suggest areas of improvement.
• Work closely with subject matter experts and technical teams including developers to identify the main areas for improvement and to devise action plan.

Skills required:

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in a Business Analysis/ Systems Analysis
• Experience in Trading Systems / Fixed Income/ Treasury etc (Must have)
• Experience in an Agile and User Story Mapping
• Experience in Portfolio Management Software would be an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Someone with a numerical background is nice to have (Actuarial or maths background)
• Working with Traders/ Portfolio Managers/ Treasury stakeholders
• Excellent attention to details and problem-solving capabilities.

Education:

• 3^rd level degree in Maths, Economics or similar from a recognised institution
