Senior Business Analyst

Our Dublin City based client is looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Senior BA to join their team. This client offers an excellent benefits package, growth opportunities and operates in a hybrid model of work.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Senior Stakeholders , business users etc. to decide on core business needs, requirements, and priorities
• Communicate with both Technical and non-technical stakeholders across the business
• Apply best practise and previous knowledge to improve processes
• Bring fresh ideas to help solve complex issues and improve existing solutions
• Evaluate data gathered from a variety of sources
• Based on information gathered and evaluations completed develop solutions on areas of inefficiency
• Preparing documentation of features and also facilitating training for users on internal systems
• Work alongside with development and testing teams to establish and meet the business and project goals
• Must be comfortable with engaging in discussions with development team, holding workshops with stakeholders to understand main priorities and effectively portray this to IT Teams

Skills required:

• 7+ years in business analysis, data analysis or similar role
• Proactive worker with proven ability for completion of successful projects
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Provide a new perspective to problem-solving skills and ability to gain insights and look at current and new
• Effective collaboration with different teams in the business and to keep teams working towards same goal
• Microsoft excel skills
• Experience with tools such as Agile, Jira and User Story Mapping
• Power BI experience or another business intelligence tool – (Nice to have)

Education:

• Relevant 3^rd level degree from a recognised institution.
