Senior Business Analyst

The Role:

• Working within the client project team, primary responsibility will be to gather information from business stakeholders to define, prioritise and document sets of business and/or functional requirements to the required quality standard
• You will have experience of working in a team-orientated, collaborative environment.
• Working directly with business stakeholders using your expertise to elicit, analyse, document, validate and verify their requirements and to provide high quality advice and deliverables
• You will need to be capable of working closely with the clients’ IT Teams, Technical Architects and Developers as needed in order to ensure correct ‘translation’ and understanding of the signed off business requirements
• You will take ownership for documentation ensuring it is comprehensive, complete, signed off and stored appropriately.

Skills & Experience:

• Must have a minimum of three years financial experience as a BA.
• Strong interpersonal skills to manage senior client stakeholders.
• An understanding of the full software lifecycle and appreciation of different project delivery methodologies
• Must be solution focused individuals with ability to understand complex problems and articulate them into simple issues and solutions.
• Must have excellent oral communication and presentation skills.
• Must have excellent business analysis experience including requirements workshops, gap analysis, process mapping and modelling the ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ processes.
• Must have excellent written skills and the ability to produce clear and meaningful documentation.
• Data modelling experience would be beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal skills to manage senior client stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational skills, logical and efficient thinking and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, effectively prioritise and execute tasks while under pressure and work independently with minimal direction and guidance.
• Experience working in a team-orientated and collaborative environment.
• Demonstrated ability to seek alternatives and innovative approaches and to push creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing industry practices and client mind-sets
