Senior Business Analyst – Contract

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business management, stakeholder, users and various other s6taff in order to decide on core business needs, requirements and priorities
• Improve products and processes by applying best practice of internal and external issues
• Being responsible for whole projects or separate project phases and being accountable for all activities within projects
• Solving complex issues and improving existing solutions through new perspectives
• Evaluation of data and information gathered from a variety of sources
• Current and new systems to be evaluated to gain a good insight and then recommendations to be made on ways in which they can be improved
• Preparing documentation of features and also facilitating training for users on internal systems
• Cooperation and collaboration with development and testing teams to establish and reach the vision of the project
• Must be comfortable with engaging in discussions with development team, holding workshops with stakeholders to understand main priorities and effectively portray this to IT Teams

Essential and Desirable Skills

• A minimum of 7+ years in business analysis, data analysis or technical analytical role
• Strong analytical skills required
• Proactive worker with proven ability for completion of successful projects
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to gain insights and look at current and new solutions from different perspective
• Effective collaboration with different teams in the business and to keep teams working towards same goal
• Excellent Microsoft excel skills
• SQL and RDBMS
• Power BI experience or another business intelligence tool
• Experience with Agile Jira, User Story Mapping, User Stories

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a discipline such as Maths, Economics, actuarial or related discipline
