Candidates must have experience in DevOps pipeline creation and not just maintenance. You also must have solid experience in Azure cloud solutions and services.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain innovative DevOps solutions within an Azure environment.
  • Ensure the cloud environment is fit for purpose, backed up, and cost-effective.
  • Build tools to reduce errors and improve system performance.
  • Identify, document, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues and vulnerabilities.
  • Provide support and training to users in a professional manner.
  • Review existing systems to find ways of automating and improving these systems.
  • Educate users on the benefits of cloud computing and new technologies.

Experience Required

  • 5-10 years- experience as a Cloud Engineer / DevOps Engineer
  • Solid experience in creating DevOps pipelines (not just maintenance)
  • Must have experience with Azure solutions and services
  • Strong customer experience, effectively dealing with technical and non-technical users

Essential and Desirable Skills

  • Exceptional communication skills with an ability to confidently deal with customers
  • Azure tools & services (e.g. Azure DevOps, Azure AD, ARM Templates, etc)
  • DevOps solutions (e.g. CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
  • Scripting (e.g. PowerShell, Bash)
  • Knowledge of cloud security and networking concepts

Educational Requirements

  • Any relevant certifications would be a bonus (e.g. Azure Administrator Associate / Azure DevOps Engineer Expert)
