Job Description

My client is a leading IT Software firm in Dublin City Centre and they have two large teams of Software Engineers. Excellent client and great career move.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive Scrum methodology across development teams
  • Coach development teams on Scrum methodology and adoption
  • Ensure Agile/Scrum concepts and ceremonies are adhered to
  • Responsibility for resolving impediments
  • Leading the team by example and is responsible for all Scrum plans and scrum meetings and coordination for the company.
  • Its a 100% pure Scrum Master role and no coding background is required but advtangeous only. 

Requirements:

  • Experience in a Scrum Master role for a software development team
  • Deep understanding of software development processes including Agile/Scrum processes
  • Understand fundamentals of iterative development
  • Understand backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition
  • Knowledge of other Agile approaches e.g. Kanban
  • Ability to motivate and coach others
  • Strong team player
  • Excellent communication skills
