My Dublin based client is looking to hire a Scrum Master that will lead the evolution of the agile PMO for the Digital program. Excellent package on offer

Scrum Master

Do you have the energy, passion and drive to lead critical projects across our business? We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master / Coach to join our Management Team to deliver high profile projects in our digital transformation program.

Responsibilities

Working with multiple scrum teams delivering on sprint goals and commitments in a globally distributed environment

Shape and evolve agile for my client and facilitate scrum ceremonies ensuring adherence to our agile cadences

Mentoring and coaching team members to become self-organising scrum teams

Identifying and driving continuous improvement using Agile metrics and retrospective techniques

Own the digital program reporting process ensuring accurate status provided for each scrum team

Lead and assist with the evolution of the agile PMO for the digital program

Support the Product Owners, Scrum Masters and Business Analysts in controlling project roadmap to ensure successful project delivery in accordance with agreed business goals

Provides clear and concise project communication; both written and verbal. Often communicating with company executives regarding the status of specific projects

Foster strong working relationship with Business Sponsors, Key Stakeholders, Development, Business Analysis & Testing teams

Some travel will be required for this role to support the needs of the business

Behavior/Values Required

Performs duties and makes complex decisions and recommendations under limited supervision, applying a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures

Ability to work on own initiative or as part of departmental and cross-departmental teams
Strong Communication (verbal & written) and Interpersonal Skills
Maintains a positive attitude in face of adversity and competing priorities
Strong influencing skills, particularly with senior executives
Capable of managing across borders and cross organizational boundaries
Commercial acumen

Experience Required

2-4 years Scrum Master experience working with multiple scrum teams
Achieved a formal certification as a Scrum Master, Kanban Lead, Lean Six Sigma certification or similar Agile approach
5-8 years of experience, working on complex IT projects
Experience working in an enterprise agile PMO an advantage
Knowledge of Financial Services/ Insurance Industry Sector useful but not essential

From the initial discussion about my role through, the vetting, onboarding and right through to the invoicing and payment process the experience with Eolas has been first rate. Luke helped me highlight the items on the CV that the client was looking for and Stephen gave me solid advice about how to invoice in Euros from a UK company. Stephen advised me to open a euro account. Advice which I initially ignored...at my cost...the Royal Bank of Scotland creamed 4.6% of my first invoice!
