SAS Programmer

SAS Programmer – Contract

The role will require the successful candidate:

1. Get up to speed on the SAS based ECL calculation framework
2. Previous experience in gap analysis assessment.
3. Previous experience in the design, development and execution of unit, system and integration testing of a complex SAS framework.
4. To demonstrate subject matter expertise in the areas of SAS tool usage and complex data structures;
5. To support the team in the monthly execution of ECL models, checking outputs and investigating and addressing any issues and queries that arise.

Minimum Criteria:

1. Strong SAS Base and macro coding skills, ideally >5 years. Ability to write sophisticated macros and optimize SAS code for robustness, performance (computational load) and reliability.
2. A proven track record of delivering complex analysis to non-technical stakeholder
3. proven track record of collaborative development
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Ability to deliver and achieve results within demanding timescales.
6. Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
