SAP Support Analyst

The SAP Support Analyst will be joining a growing IT department to assist with the ongoing support and development of the businesses’ SAP systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting both SAP & BW systems to meet fully all Business requirements across a number of SAP modules. You will help with the running of Interfaces, providing Helpdesk support and the provision of specialist functional support for the SAP solutions in the SAP FI/MM/SD functionality.

Responsibilities:

• Perform initial testing of incident/problem fixes, change request, enhancements, and new functionality, including Intermediate Document (IDoc) rejects and system errors.
• Monitoring and management of all internal and external support calls and ticket.
• Planning of regular bug fix/enhancement releases into production. Preparation of end user notes to support each release.
• Working with the functional leads and key business users to develop and maintain standard functional scripts to support testing of all upgrades and changes.
• Liaise with our internal IT Department Change Management processes.
• Interfaces with SAP and non-SAP technical teams in support of existing system

Skills and Experience:

• 3 years hands on SAP support experience.
• Experience in developing and supporting SAP enhancements.
• High level of experience in Service Incident Analysis, Support & problem resolution.
• Demonstrated involvement in Full life cycle SAP implementations
• Experience with interface technologies
• Experience in Finance, Manufacturing and Supply Chain
• Potentially has helped with or been involved in SAP configuration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
