My South Dublin based client is recruiting for a SAP HR & Payroll Functional Analyst this is a perm role. The successful candidate should come from a strong SAP Implementation and Config background. The role will involve joining a team that partners with the business to provide strategic direction and technology support / services across the board.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide end user support for the SAP application, with emphasis on HR and Payroll.
Investigate and resolve support calls raised by the business.
Work on internal SAP Projects and Change Requests as required.
Carry out configuration and legal changes in SAP.
Liaise with the 3rd party support partner in the efficient resolution of support calls.
Identify opportunities where the solution can be optimised to deliver high returns.
Collaborate across functional areas within the Support Team and the wider IT Group gaining broader SAP / IT skills
Liaise with third party application consultants in the specification, development and testing of enhancements / modifications to the SAP solution.
Knowledge transfer to other members of support team as appropriate.
Provide business analyst services to support new application products.
The ideal candidate must be a self-starter with the initiative and skills to manage his/her workload to meet necessary deadlines. Excellent time management, prioritisations and communications skills are essential.
At least three year’s SAP implementation and configuration experience.
Experience in addressing key business issues with IT solutions.
Ability to display a high degree of professionalism in dealing with business managers and users.
Ability to write functional specifications to capture end user’s requirements in SAP.
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
