Job Description

My Dublin West client is looking for a Sales Account Manager to join its team on a permanent basis.

Opportunity:

The role of the Account Manager is to develop long-term relationships with an existing portfolio of clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. The Account Management role is to liaise with clients and cross functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of the clients portfolio of services and solutions ensuring client requirements are met and the customer continues to partner, driving further Sales growth.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships for a selection of key clients, while gathering insights to contribute to our overall client relationship management strategy
  • Work with the sales, implementation and services teams to understand clients’ goals from an early stage
  • Meet regularly with clients as part of individual contact plans and relationship management strategies
  • Generate Sales by Championing our Managed Services and Technology offerings to maintain and positively impact on the customer’s IT services goals
  • Track and achieve sales targets, aligned with company objectives
  • Consult with the customer’s leadership teams to ensure alignment with their strategy and to help drive success
  • Ensure a consistent message and client experience is delivered by all teams
  • Generate sales by looking for and acting on opportunities to prove the value of our offer to existing clients and challenge them to do more with their IT investment
  • Negotiate client renewals, ensuring any new commercial and contractual terms recognise both long-standing successful client relationships and the continued development of our services and technology offerings
  • Represent the voice of our clients, feeding back internally
  • Maintain your knowledge of sector trends, technology and competitor offerings
  • Act as a point of contact and handle customer’s individual needs.
  • Resolve any conflicts with customers in a professional and timely manner.
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Comply with all ISMS Policies and Procedures and support the ISMS continuous improvement process.
  • Responsible for delivering exceptional client service on a day to day basis

Skills/Experience:

  • Demonstrable ability to communicate with, present to and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation, in particular executive and CEO, COO, CFO level
  • Excellent communication skills: active listening, verbal, written
  • Both individual and team player
  • 3+ years experience in Account Management
  • Familiarity with IT Service Delivery concepts, practices and procedures
  • Knowledge of IT Security, Cloud and ‘as-a-Service’ offerings
  • Understanding of IT Managed Services offerings
  • Understanding of ITSM and Service Delivery (ITIL\ISO)
