Risk Manager – Financial Services

My Financial Services client based in Dublin is now looking for a Risk Manager to join their expanding team on a permanent basis. You will be joining a well-established organisation that provides challenging projects, generous company benefits, and excellent progression opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Enterprise Risk Management framework.
• Assure risk and control methods are delivered consistently and in line with policies and standards.
• Maintain and update risk assessment processes to reflect ongoing changes to controls.
• Provide training and workshops about risk management across all business functions.
• Monitor and test Risk metrics to identify trends, report incidents, and resolve issues.
• Act as a subject matter expert, providing advice and support to senior management for regulatory and enterprise risk initiatives.

Experience Required

• At least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar Enterprise Risk Management role
• Experience in risk management and/or control monitoring within a regulatory environment
• Experience working with the Financial Services sector
• Experience in risk consulting and/or strategic planning would be desirable

Educational Requirements

• Third level degree in a relevant field (Finance, Economics, Accountancy, etc)
• Relevant qualifications would be desirable (e.g. LCOI, ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
