Risk & Compliance Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the implementation of the Group Risk and the Group Compliance on a local level
• Responsible for making decisions on risk management issues that impact the direction of the business
• Identify and manage the risks faced by the company
• Act on an adviser to Senior Management
• Compliance Management – Ensure GDPR & PIAs programmes are facilitated and reviewed regularly
• Update Corporate Governance Framework and publishing accessibility to all employees
• Develop and implement short and long-term strategies and plans for internal audit activities
• Carry out ad-hoc investigations
• Internal and External Audit & Control
• Act as Group Audit Department single point of contact for audit co-ordination and information submission

Experience Required

• Proven record of meeting all agreed SLAs and Key Performance Indicators
• Keeping on top of market trends and industry changes
• Strong experience with COBIT IT governance frameworks and its components
• Understand how COBIT alings with other standards

Essential and Desirable Skills

• Thorough knowledge and understanding of current technologies and methods used in performing risk analyses
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of current technologies and methods used in performing risk analyses and business impact analyses
• Operational Risk Management knowledge/experience
• IT/Systems Audit experience
• Risk Management Systems Experience

Educational Requirements

• Third Level Degree required
