Research Lead / Technical Innovator

Job Responsibilities

• Successfully identify next steps in the research and engagement strategy
• Develop funding sources to support existing and planned project missions
• Execute grant proposals from development, to writing and submission
• Document status and progress updates to upper management
• Consistently stay abreast of potential collaboration opportunities
• Build a close professional relationship with key stakeholders and upper management to identify key areas of progress within the research projects and potential areas of advancements
• Have leadership capabilities especially within the area of mentoring team members
• Lead submission and logistics claims related to research agreements

Experience Required

• 2+ years of investigative research lead experience or 3+ years’ experience of experience within technical innovation positions
• An ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and management – as well as expertise in explaining technical concepts across differing areas of technical expertise
• Skill and professional ability to stay meticulously organised
• Be a representative of the company’s global image and an ambassador for excellence in research, development and investigation

Essential and Desirable Skills

• Previous professional working knowledge of the research grant application system within the Irish and European domain
• Previous experience with IoT technology
• Some knowledge of modern technological advancements within AI and data science
