Research and Development Analyst

My Dublin-based client is looking for a Research & Development Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct analytics method verifications, validations, and technical transfers.
• Manage the stability schedule for stability testing programmes.
• Follow all relevant SOPs and best practices in accordance with analytical regulations and industry standards.
• Ensure laboratory equipment is maintained, calibrated, and reported if there are any discrepancies in testing or work practices.
• Review relevant documentation such as laboratory notebooks, logbooks, protocols, and reports.
• Comply with the company’s quality standards and processes and ensure quality documentation is maintained and up to date.

Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a similar field
• At least 1-2 years’ experience working in an analytical laboratory environment
• Experience troubleshooting analytical issues
• Experience with dissolution would be desirable

Essential and Desirable Skills

• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
• Self-driven mindset and capable of working independently
• Knowledge of quality systems and practices such as CGMPs

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a similar field
