Experienced Release / DevOps Engineer required for excellent Dublin City Centre based client.
The core function of the role is to manage the build, configuration and deployment aspects of the software delivery pipeline. The software stack is almost solely Microsoft .NET and SQLServer deployed to a Windows platform (within a private data centre).
The Organisation is currently on a pathway toward the containerisation and cloudification of the platform with many ambitions for total automation of environment build out, configuration and deployment.
The software delivery pipeline is sprint/scrum based with multiple concurrent sprints covering front end, back end and tooling. The sprints are typically three week cycles with many daily builds. The current platform has 100+ distinct components with 10s of components active in each sprint.
The candidate will work in a small though crucial team responsible for the delivery of product across its entire lifecycle. The work load is challenging and requires a cross disciplinary skillset considering the demands of the team and the strong focus on Devops and automation.
