QA Test Engineer

This role will be a hybrid model. This role will be very hands on and will require working across the platform stack to a QA front & back end functionality, performance. regression and load test the platforms.

Job Responsibilities

• Excellent skills in writing & executing test scripts for web applications.
• Experience validating results in back-end and front-end.
• Good understanding of MySQL & ability to run basic SQL queries in a test environment.
• Experience using load & regression testing tools & advising on the most suitable tooling.
• Manual & Automation testing experience required
• Experience of writing and delivering a test strategy would be ideal

Experience Required

• Good understanding of cloud c
• A min of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience of writing and delivering a test strategy would be ideal
• Basic Linux command line experience – nice to have
• Experience of testing payment systems – nice to have, not essential

Essential and Desirable Skills

• Good understanding of cloud computing concepts (Azure nice to have)
• Experience of testing payment systems – nice to have, not essential

Educational Requirements

• Computer Science Degree
