QA Test Engineer

My Dublin based client is recruiting for a QA Test Engineer this is a perm role with a hybrid model. The QA Test Engineer will be responsible for ongoing testing and quality managing of electronic & software products. This role will involve both manual & automation testing in a R&D environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Project planning and execution
• Capable of taking responsibility, showing initiative, creativity and working in an international team.
• Work with engineers to identify test criteria and develop test planning and documentation.
• Setup hardware/firmware test environments in support of product testing
• Automate testing where possible
• Test products and services including electronics, firmware, mobile Apps & cloud services
• Verify issues reported by customers and product management

Experience Required

• Good understanding of electronics and ability to find faults in electronic
• Strong knowledge of PC’s and experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Good understanding of networking and IT
• Experience in an R&D Test environment
• Ability to write high quality test
• Must be a systematic thinker who uses data to drive decision

Educational Requirements

• Diploma or degree in electronics or related
