QA Test Engineer – C#

My Dublin based client are seeking a skilled QA Test Engineer with experience in software testing and quality assurance to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and verifying software meets specifications and requirements. The position will also be responsible for designing and implementing automated tests using C# programming language and related technologies. The client is offering a hybrid working model for this role

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure software meets specifications and requirements
• Plan and implement manual and automated tests across products API’s / web apps
• Transition from manual to automated testing
• Design and implement automated tests using C# programming language and related technologies
• Maintain and enhance existing automated tests to ensure test coverage and maximize test efficiency.
• Participate in software design and code reviews to ensure testability.
• Manage the preparation of test coverage, & regression analysis to support high-quality delivery.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in test automation using C# and related technologies.
• Good SQL Knowledge
• Visual Studio/ Rider experience
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, and/or Cucumber.
• Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education

• Bachelor-s degree in computer science, Software Engineering or related field.
