Job Description

My large Dublin based client requires a skilled QA Automation Engineer with hands on experience to join their existing team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain Test Environments as required
  • Develop and maintain automated tests
  • Debug test cases and eradicate errors
  • Working alongside developers, solution architects and business analysts to troubleshoot issues
  • Work with a variety of automated test tools such as Selenium, Jenkins, Java and a variety of others
  • Conduct reviews and create excellent reports and test plans for senior stakeholders
  • Effectively execute regression testing
  • Work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced, high pressure environment

 

Experience Required

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong experience of database script management with usage of various databases such as Redgate and MS SQL Server
  • Networking & Communication Protocols – such as SOAP & REST
  • Previous experience using Languages Java , MS SQL, C#, PowerShell
  • Testing Frameworks & Tools: Cucumber, jQuery, Selenium
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience of writing BDD Test suites with Gherkin, Cucumber and Junit
  • Experience in scrum or Agile environment

 

Educational Requirements

  • 3rd level qualification from a recognised institution
