QA Engineer – Automation

The Role

• Guarantee all quality checks, processes, procedures, and risk assessment have been adhered to.
• Plan and coordinate testing activities, prioritizing to ensure quality and test coverage with the client’s teams.
• Participate in agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups.
• Help teams in developing test plans / cases to ensure maximum accuracy and completion.
• Review user stories requirements, specifications, and technical design docs when needed.
• Identify integration points for new work by working alongside agile teams.
• Make and manage dependency documentation for system wide regression.
• Assist with the creation, development, and execution of automation scripts. Manual testing when required.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years QA experience through the full life-cycle of an enterprise application.
• Ability to influence best practices of QA and test automation within your team.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Use of the following a distinct advantage:

• Prior proven experience in software development/ software QA.
• Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, processes, and tools.
• Ability to write clear and comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Hands-on experience with both white and black box testing, and automated testing tools.
• Good working knowledge of SQL and scripting.
• Past work in a scrum/ agile development process.

Nice to have:

• BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with either security testing or performance testing.
