Project Manager

My Financial Services client based in Dublin is now looking for a Project Manager to join their expanding team on a permanent basis. You will be joining a well-established organisation that provides challenging projects and excellent progression opportunities.

Candidate must have at least 5 years’ experience in Project Management within the Financial Services or Banking industry. There are multiple initiatives to get involved in, so you will be matched up with projects that best suit your experience and background.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage, implement, and deliver projects and systems across Operational, Technology, and Regulatory initiatives
• Establish business requirements to effectively develop and implement a project delivery plan.
• Plan, monitor, and coordinate with project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet expectations (cost, functionality, and quality).
• Analyse performance, resolve issues, and adjust the plan accordingly to reduce negative impact in financials or the customer.
• Identify potential risks, create contingency plans to trigger events, and ensure there is a clear and concise risk management process in place.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to collect and provide regular updates throughout the process.

Experience Required

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager in the Financial Services or Banking industry
• Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proven track record of delivering end-to-end projects on time and within budget
• Must have sound knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Agile release cycle management experience would be beneficial
• Experience working on CRM system migration projects would be a bonus

Educational Requirements

• Third level qualification
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g. PMP, Prince2)
