Organizational Management -Project Manager

Do you have the energy, passion and drive to lead critical projects across our business? We are looking for an experienced project manager to join our Organizational Management Team to deliver strategic projects supporting revenue generation, new product launch as well as digital programs.

My clients Organization Management department has a unique and exciting job opportunity available for someone who enjoys challenging the status quo and seeking out creative ways to support the company`s ever more complex commercial processes with innovative and robust business and IT solutions. The candidate required will possess the right balance of technical project management knowhow along with influencing and relationship building skills necessary to drive projects to a successful conclusion and within challenging deadlines. Ultimately, this candidate will be the core liaison between our global business functions and the IT department, being comfortable translating the requirements of each department and ensuring an alignment exists between the project stakeholders.

The key responsibilities include:

• Design, implement and manage an improved company-wide project in-take process that ensures the business receives the maximum benefits from its investments
• Take projects from original concept through final implementation, ensuring delivery on-time and to budget
• Insure project methodologies (Waterfall and Agile), project delivery processes, and implementation management processes are followed. This includes managing and driving, Project Schedule, Risk and Issue Management as well as Scope Change Management
• Provide supporting input, mentoring & leadership to junior project management team members
• Support the Business Analysts in the Business Process Management team in controlling project scope to ensure successful project delivery in accordance with specified deadlines
• Foster strong working relationship with Business Sponsors, Key Stakeholders, Development, Business Analysis & Testing teams
• Provides clear and concise project communication; both written and verbal. Often communicating with company executives regarding the status of specific projects

Some travel will be required for this role to support the needs of the business

Experience Required

• Educated to degree level
• 8-10 years of experience, running complex programs of work (Both formal project management methodologies & Agile)
• Top-Tier Consulting experience a distinct advantage
• Knowledge of Financial Services/ Insurance Industry Sector useful but not essential
