Job Description

Our client, a very well known company and household name in Ireland are looking for a Product Owner to join one of their teams. Position has good potential for long term extensions

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with PO’s and BA’s and other members of the product team and help guide the implementation of the product roadmap.
  • Have a high level of understanding of the business domain and what is required for progression of the product.
  • Negotiate with internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Create and maintain the product backlog
  • Work closely with the various teams including software
  • Help with the coordination of the launch of new products.

Experience Required

  • Previous experience working in a Product Owner or BA position
  • Someone with good Digital PO experience.
  • Experience working primarily on web products, or mobile app products.
  • Experience in the management of backlogs, and prioritizing them based on business needs.
  • Strong communicator and team player.
  • Strong user story creation, and familiar with Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience in agile ceremonies, both attending but also managing (backlog refinement, demos, retros).
  • Have good career progression up to Product Owner level
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to details is very important

Educational Requirements

  • 3rd Level degree in IT, Engineering or a related degree

Working Hours & Benefits

  • Regular working week, Monday to Friday
  • Remote working available
