Job Description

My Dublin-based client is actively recruiting a Product Owner to join their team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Be the primary contact for queries related to the solution and its features.
  • Provide expert subject matter knowledge and leadership.
  • Own, assign and clarify any technical requirements.
  • To have a deep understanding the solution vision.
  • Creating and maintaining the feature backlog for the solution.
  • Construction of any roadmaps required.
  • Prioritization of the feature to ensure work focuses on items with maximum value.
  • Process any high-level requirements into workflows and use cases so they are clearly understood by the external development team.
  • Acting as an ambassador for the product internally.
  • Working with stakeholders and an external development team.
  • Documenting technical story details after reviewing the work that needs to be completed with the development team.
  • Provide updates and explain solution and application features to non-technical teams.
  • Acting as the point-of-contact for any technical questions, whether they come through internal or external stakeholders.
  • Working with customer experience team to create mockups of user interactions for the various features.
  • Assist in the creation of acceptance criteria for the solution and functions/features.
  • Socialize new features and enhancements, with both internal and external stakeholders.

Experience Required

  • The ideal candidate should have experience as a product owner of several mobile phone applications.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, verbal and written.
  • Planning and organising.
  • Strong stakeholder management.
  • Experienced in supplier management
  • Flexibility towards different situations, consumers and business needs.
  • Experienced and competent with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Trello and similar.
