Job Description
Our client are looking for a Product Designer to join their team. This position can be performed on a remote basis. Excellent opportunity with an Irish company that is growing
Job Responsibilities
- Gathering requirements from the customers, stakeholders and working closely with the product team
- Help to define project and product goals, objectives and the key criteria for product success
- Designing of major improvements to the mobile app and web application
- Work on new product development, from research all the way to delivery
- Create prototypes and test them with internal and external users
- Plan and execute UX research in order to better understand users and clients
- Play a major part in the creation of our design system and help to ensure its success
- Work with the PO to manage the design backlog and create the design roadmap
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams in the business
Experience Required
- 3+ years of relevant commercial experience in a similar role
- BSc in Design, CS or equivalent working experience
- Have a good portfolio demonstrating your skills and experience
- A problem-solving attitude, good team player and persuasion skills
- Have excellent attention to detail
- A proven history of hands-on, valid UX Research
- Strategic experience. You will manage and shape the design roadmap, communicating with stakeholders on a continuous basis to shape its direction
- Fluency in at least one UI design application
- This client use Adobe XD for their design and basic prototyping
- Fluency in at least one prototyping application or process
- Ability to work remotely, independently, prioritise tasks and meet ambitious deadlines
