Pre-Sales Engineer

Your responsibility will include:

• Provide product consulting to our partners and customers
• Provide technical information and supervision to our partners and customers
• Respond to documents like RFP´s in close cooperation with the sales team
• Demonstrate our software solution in front of prospects, existing clients and partners
• Identify needs and requirements of customers and prospects so that demonstrations are customized to the customer’s specific interests
• Provide product presentations, architecture reviews, application discussions and prototype development as needed
• Give training to guarantee consistent knowhow transfer

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimal Bachelor’s degree and experience in computer science, software engineering, and/or systems engineering
• Experience in technical pre & post sales in internet web site development, portal, web content management and/or social collaboration industry in general
• Experience with Portals, MySQL, JBOSS, Tomcat, Glassfish, Websphere, Weblogic etc.
• Exposure to Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate
• Exposure to front-end technologies such as CSS, HTML5, YUI (and/or Alloy UI), jQuery
• Web development experience – proficient in Java and Java EE
• Prior experience portal solutions a plus
• Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated exceptional engineering, consulting, and / or software sales skills from previous employment
• Works well with distributed team
