Power BI Developer

The successful candidate will develop customise and deliver the client’s product using PowerBI and will work across the whole SDLC and with various stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop dashboards, data sources and extracts in PowerBI
• Provide solutions to solve problems and deliver and implement projects to the client’s customers (B2B environment)
• Work with cross-functional teams and external and internal stakeholders
• Provide solutions to improve user experience of using dashboards and to improve performance of dashboards.
• Extract data from complex data warehouse and prepare for the dashboards
• Work with SQL queries and write them to bring data into PowerBI
• Test the analytics solutions and resolve any performance issues
• Develop tools that will allow the team to benefit from automation efforts

Requirements:

• Third level degree in IT-related discipline
• 1-2 plus: years of experience working as PowerBI developer, developing dashboards and data sources and data visualisation
• At least 3 years of experience working with ETL/data warehouse/data preparation/data design/data modelling
• Experience with star-schema data warehouses and developing ETL processes
• Excellent SQL experience – experience working across multiple databases is a plus
• Experience in scripting and automation using Python is a pluss
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills
