POS Application Support

My Dublin West client is currently looking for a POS Application Support to join their ever-growing team. My client is looking for a candidate with strong technical knowledge and experience of working with various systems.

POS experience is ESSENTIAL for this role!

Role:

• Management, maintenance and support of a number of specific business applications.
• Experience of retail POS systems
• Provide proactive insights/suggestions for enhancement and improvements
• Manage software implementation and upgrades, supporting the necessary system testing and application maintenance (Level 2)
• Analysis of complex business requirements and user processes and ensuring the change process is managed effectively while working closely with stakeholders and Vendors.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• A background in retail POS software applications is essential.
• Experience of requirement gathering, analysis and testing of systems is essential.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Exposure to working with both Development teams and Change Management
• Exposure to ticketing systems and the understanding of customer facing responsibilities
• Degree qualified in IT discipline or relevant experience
