Job Description
Dublin City Center consultancy client require PMO Support to join their team on a 12 month fixed-term contract with view to extend.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support PMO on ensuring delivery of project reports are on time and meet quality standard.
- Maintenance of PM demand forecast on behalf of the PMO, and the extension to cover other key stakeholder groups within the client’s organization.
- PMO SharePoint maintenance and upkeep of project data on SharePoint.
- Monitoring of PMO SharePoint utilisation and storage of project phase documentation outputs as per project delivery methodology.
- Support the PMO on the management and running of project stage gate reviews.
- Supporting the Project Managers with the submissions on yearly actual spend versus budget.
- Managing the intake of project demand and ensuring the business requestor follows due process with the production and submission of a work request form.
- Issue meeting agendas, take meeting notes, create draft reports and presentations as appropriate.
- Take on of some smaller project deliverables within the PMO.
- Become the KeyedIn Admin, conducting KeyedIn housekeeping as recommended.
- Capable of producing new KeyedIn Reports to deliver additional information to stakeholder audiences and reports on statistics to the PMO.
- Manage time effectively to ensure deadlines are met.
- Complete administration as necessary and in a timely manner.
- Manage project logs (risks, assumptions, questions, decisions) to support Project Management function.
- Monthly PMO Project Report collation, management of centralised project status data and uplift of project level content to portfolio level reporting.
- Assisting to develop and improve the PM Induction pack on SharePoint – eventually taking ownership of its content.
- Interact with project team to gather and communicate issues, actions and risks.
- Responsible for gathering all necessary information from the change initiator to document changes that may affect cost, scope, time or quality of a project.
- Following up on all approved changes including disseminating new project documents.
- From time to time assisting various projects/ project managers with various project activities.
Experience Required:
- 1 or more years’ experience supporting a Project Management Office.
Essential and Desirable:
- Knowledge of different project management methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Good analytical problem-solving skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Reporting and data analysis experience.
- Planning and organizing.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and Project.
- Project delivery experience desirable.
