Job Description

My Dublin north side based client (Close to Dublin Airport) is currently looking for a PMO Project Manager to join and help establish and maintain the recently established PMO office.

The role will involve managing and improving the PMO functions for a large corporate client with offices worldwide. The role will have two project coordinators reporting into the role and currently they have 10 Project Managers working under the PMO function at present. Your main responsibility will be responsible for improving the consistency, predictability and efficiency of programme delivery for the company.

Required Work Experience:

  • 4-6 years supporting programme delivery in a PMO capacity
  • Good knowledge of programme and project management methods including either DSDM / Agile PM and / or PRINCE2 (Any methodology is sufficient)
  • Develop and maintain project management standards, processes, templates and procedures;
  • Support the Project/Programme Managers in maintaining and reporting of project finances;
  • Ensure Programme Review Boards and Steering committees are coordinated and supported
  • Good working knowledge of Confluence / Jira and MS Project
  • Provide in-depth advice and support for project management, delivery and tracking software and tools (such as Confluence and JIRA);
  • Evaluate programme performance and recommend changes where performance is found to be unsatisfactory
  • Tracking and reporting on progress of programme milestones and baselined plans;
