Performance Engineer

My Dublin based client is recruiting for a Performance Engineer to join the existing team. This is a permanent role with an excellent client.

Job Responsibilities

• Expertise in Apache JMeter, HP LoadRunner or SOASTA CloudTest or other performance testing tool
• Experience of performance testing multi-tier systems; Database, App Servers, Web and Mobile Apps (iOS & Android
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• First-rate level of analytical, planning and organizational ability
• Experience/understanding of working in an Agile environmen
• Experience working with Linux environments and SQ
• Scripting skills

Experience Required

Essential and Desirable Skills

• ISTQB or other software testing certifications highly desirable
• Experience with Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins
• Experience with Amazon AWS
• Experience with network packet sniffers tools like TcpDump, Fiddler or Wireshark
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, networking topology, routers, switches
• Python, Java, C++ or C# experience

Educational Requirements

• Third level I.T. qualifications and 5+ years of related professional experience OR equivalent experience
