Penetration Tester

Job Responsibilities

• You will work on a variety of technical security assessments that can include the following
  • Penetration Tests, Vulnerability Assessments, Social Engineering/Phishing Campaigns, Secure Code Reviews
• Work with the wider team in order to ensure that the methods and tools being used are of a high standard and best in class
• Work closely with and support other service lines within the business as required
• Work with the wider team to gain a deeper understanding of threats/attacks and how to manage

Experience Required

• 3-5 years of experience working in Penetration Testing, Red team testing or a similar role
• Up-to-date knowledge of current techniques and technologies is important for this position
• Have a knowledge of Security function and Security Architecture, especially in relation to enterprise-grade networks/systems
• Experience with cloud technologies is important
• Have knowledge that directly relates to security assessments and the development/deployment of secure cloud infrastructure
• Excellent verbal and written skills

Essential and Desirable Skills

• Third-level qualification in Information Security, Computer Science or a related discipline
• Experience testing mobile applications
• Experience performing secure code reviews
• Experience with and/or knowledge of system/network administration
• Coding experience with one or more programming/query languages, e.g. Python, SQL
• Experience in a client-facing role would be a benefit to this role
