Job Description

Our client is currently recruiting a Payroll Manager position. They are a well-known Irish Group with operations across Europe. This is a Permanent role with hybrid working.

Job Responsibilities

  • Leading a team of within the payroll function
  • Review and sign-off of Group Payrolls and managing outsourced payroll partnerships across Europe
  • Stakeholder management – Liaising with HR, Finance, foreign tax advisers, Tax Administrations in different countries and other external partners and institutions such as pension and life companies
  • Payroll compliance – ensuring compliance with local regulations internationally and liaising with Tax Department in relation to tax compliance across all payrolls (expenses deductions, BIK, double tax credits)
  • Process improvement
  • Payroll software upgrades and integrations

Experience Required

  • Minimum three years’ experience in a payroll leadership position
  • Strong people management skills

Essential and Desirable Skills

  • Strong communication skills
  • European payroll knowledge and experience

Educational Requirements

  • IPASS qualified or equivalent
