Job Description

This role will give the successful candidate the chance to work with one of the leading IT Companies in Dublin, Ireland.

The company is based in Dublin City Centre and the hiring manager is looking for someone with Solid Linux Systems Administration skills and scripting skills and if you have some exposure to Cloud systems that would be good but not 100% required as they will provide training for the right candidate.

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Excellent knowledge of Linux server administration.
  • Some DevOps or AWS experience would be nice to have.
  • Extensive experience working in a fast-paced environment ensuring high availability and uptime for their web services.
  • Some experience w of the following would also be nice to have: (Java, JavaScript, Python, AWS and Distributed Systems such as Cassandra.)

PS- The main concerns for me would be decent Linux and troubleshooting skills with scripting ability. Much of the rest like AWS and DevOps can be taught in house.
