Network & Systems Security Engineer – Team Leader

Job Responsibilities

• Act as a team leader being responsible to provide support for my clients customers’ ICT infrastructure
• You will be a part of the IT Security Team
• Act as a team lead, mentoring L1-L3 Engineers
• Communicating with customers and keeping good customer relations
• Working with other team members and management to develop processes and solutions
• Provided 3rd level support to a wide range of clients on security focused technologies
• Complying with all ISMS Policies

Experience Required

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
• Previous experience as a team lead
• Working as part of a team and as an individual
• Strong experience with trouble shooting and problem solving
• Ability and willingness to learn new technologies/products

Essential and Desirable Skills

• Network security – strong experience managing and delivery solutions like VPN connections, IPS systems, web filtering, secure email, NGFW firewall systems, reverse proxy systems, WAFs. Experience on vendors like Fortinet, Checkpoint and Cisco is preferred. Holding an active certification would be highly advantageous.
• Strong experience with Cisco and HP network routing and switching technologies
• Network and systems secure access – good experience on working with 2FA, 802.1X and NAC solutions
• Holding current security related certification necessary
• Microsoft OS – experience working on Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 systems
• Experience with MS Office 365/Active Directory is mandatory
• Wireless networking and security – experience on working with vendors like Fortinet, Cisco and Meraki is a plus
• Privileged account management system – experience on working with PAM systems is a plus
• Remote access solutions – experience on working with vendors like Citrix XenApp and Microsoft RDS is a plus
• Exposure to security testing solution like Kali linux are a plus
• Exposure to scripting language like PowerShell and bash are a plus

Educational Requirements

• Third level degree or relevant work experience
• Network Security Certifications – CCSA, CCNA, CCNP, NSE
