Job Description

South Dublin client requires an experienced Network Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis

Job Responsibilities

  • Finding creative solutions to unique and complex solutions
  • Provide quality technical support for the Networking solutions/products installed for our customers
  • Implement network projects
  • Work closely with the Sales, Operations & Delivery Teams
  • Resolving complex customer issues which have been escalated from the support desk
  • Out of hours work may be required but will be compensated accordingly
  • It is a requirement that certifications and specialisations achieved are kept during your employment
  • Full clean EU driving licence is required

Experience Required

  • Minimum 3 years experience as a network engineer
  • An ability to communicate technical strategies and industry concepts and processes to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience of management platforms
  • ICT, telecommunications and/or consulting experience
  • Client facing experience

Essential and Desirable Skills

  • Ability to produce HLD and LLD customer documentation
  • Knowledge of areas such as VXLAN, OSPF, MPLS, MBGP is a plus
  • Knowledge of additional vendor products such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Dell, HPE, F5 & Microsoft would be a plus

Educational Requirements

  • Valid CCNP certification in either Routing & Switching or Wireless
  • Additional Cisco certifications would be an advantage
