Network Architect

My client is currently recruiting for a Network / Voice Architect to join the team on a permanent basis. This role will be working on a hybrid model.

Job Responsibilities

• You will design & implementation of LAN/WAN & datacentre environments
• Assessing business & applications requirements for data and voice networks.
• Define & execute Network and Voice strategy in line with business objectives and goals.
• Act as subject matter expert for the internal organization.
• Define the strategic use of infrastructure management tools to optimize systems.
• Overall, you will be concerned innovation, design, support and communication.

Experience Required

• Minimum of 8 years domain experience.
• Expert level knowledge of IT Networking and Voice technologies
• Hands on expertise in configuration of Network equipment, Freeswitch and Kamalio.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Knowledge of traditional project management methodologies both Agile and Waterfall.
• Broad understanding of application infrastructure, system architecture, and operating systems.
• Experience in working with DevOps and Agile methodologies
• Excellent communication skills interfacing with all levels of an organization.

Essential and Desirable Skills

• Relevant industry certifications in Networking and/or Linux.
• Proven track record in design and implementation of converged solutions involving SIP telephony platforms.
• Containerization and Automation experience would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Cloud network and connectivity architectures.
• Team leadership skills
