Job Description

My Dublin-based client requires an experienced .NET Architect to join its expanding team on a permanent basis

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain enterprise architecture models
  • Develop architecture governance strategy and controls to ensure consistency between various systems and components
  • Write sample code for features that utilize new or unfamiliar technologies, coding practices, or languages
  • Research and assess emerging technologies and recommend technologies that can simplify development, reduce effort, or solve problems that are creating defects in current systems
  • Analyse metrics to identify potential areas for improvement and/or restructuring
  • Work closely with the development, testing and product teams

Experience Required

  • 8+ years in technical leadership roles with a minimum of 3+ years as a .Net Architect
  • Experience of microservices architectures
  • Proven experience dealing with stakeholders and advising them on the necessary business requirements
  • Excellent communication skills

Essential and Desirable Skills

  • Experience in OO JavaScript, JSON and leading industry frameworks
  • Excellent knowledge of the SDLC and .NET frameworks
  • Demonstrated knowledge of IT Security best practices and integration with application authorization and access
  • Experience with cloud services (Azure, Amazon) is a plus

Educational Requirements

  • Third level or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
