.Net Solutions Architect

Skills:

• Develop/write and review technical documentation, providing feedback, and liaising with Engineering Technical Architects.
• Ability to identify issues before they happen, and to develop contingency and mitigation plans.
• Ability to prioritise tasks, and take on multiple responsibilities of varying priorities while delivering projects.
• Ability to resolve conflicts, and develop positive outcomes in negative scenarios.
• Experience in leading developers, with a proven track record of success.
• Minimum 6-8 years development experience and circa 2-3 years as an Architect
• Key understanding of Design Patterns and SOLID design principles, but also of pragmatism and fit for purpose

The candidate must possess:

• At least 6-7 years background in the .Net Framework:

• • .NET Framework (VB.NET, C#)
  • ASP.NET/MVC
  • WCF
  • Entity Framework
  • SQL/T-SQL

• Good understanding and experience of Test Driven Development, Automated Testing Frameworks and Continuous Integration
• Strong OO modelling, design and implementation skills.
• Good understanding and experience of SQL, Data Modelling and Stored Procedures
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Practical experience in all phases of development lifecycle
• Estimation and risk escalation knowledge and experience
