Our South Dublin based client is seeking a Full Stack Engineer  to join their team. This role will report to the Engineering Team Lead. The successful candidate will be tasked with delivering cutting-edge software solutions of the highest quality. Job Responsibilities:

• Implement new features and enhance existing products within the engineering team.
• Enhance the development and release engine.
• Contribute to the collective oversight of the application’s architecture and technical direction.
• Thrive in an agile/lean environment
• Act as a mentor to junior team members.
• Participate in all stages of the development process, from design to testing and delivery.
• Engage in development tasks spanning a wide spectrum of technologies, encompassing front-end and back-end.
• Cover various areas from core development in technologies like ASP.NET MVC/WebApi, Linq, SASS, Vue.js, to T-SQL stored procedures and functions in SQL Server.
• Being a versatile full-stack developer and adept problem solver takes precedence over mastery of any specific technology.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, and system tests for your own and others’ code.
• Conduct code reviews and adhere to secure coding practices.
• Contribute to retrospectives and post-mortems, always seeking opportunities for improvement.
• Strive to automate tasks of lower value.

Essential Experience:

• A minimum of 4 years’ experience with the following technologies:
• .NET, C#.NET or VB.NET
• HTML and CSS
• Proficient understanding of HTTP and REST
• JavaScript
• SQL Server, particularly T-SQL
• Some familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks would be advantageous.
• Strong technical documentation writing skill.
• Experience in DevOps, scripting, and maintenance of build processes is highly regarded.
• Some familiarity with MVC, Web Services, Vue.js/React, Web APIs, and Azure services in general would be beneficial.
• A demonstrated interest in optimization, mobile development, and Vue.js components would be considered a plus.

Educational Requirements

• A 3rd level degree in an IT-related discipline or similar
