Senior Data MIS Analyst – 55-70k per annum

Role Description:

This is a permanent, full-time position based in our Dublin Southside office and the successful candidates will play a pivotal role in leading and building financial data models for a new department.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Reporting to the MIS Data Manager and supporting the wider MIS Data Risk team, the successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Programming and development of credit risk data using Excel, VBA, Access, SQL Server, SAS
• Interpretation and analysis of business requirements into key risk indicator metrics
• Developing digital data dashboards via BI tools
• Owning the production of risk reports
• Co-ordinating the provision of key data for regulatory reporting
• Liaising with the Risk Portfolio Risk Management teams to assist with data provision for model and scorecard development
• Creation and maintenance of data analysis procedures
• Adhoc systems integration testing and review
• Leading data related projects/programmes impacting credit risk

Preferred skills & experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science, Business Information Systems or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years’ experience – preferably in a financial services organization and using the likes of Excel, VBA, Access, SQL Server, SAS (Data Analysis)
• Knowledge of databases and strong query-writing skills – strong SQL skills is a must
• Experience creating digital dashboards with modern BI platforms.
• High proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products, especially MS Excel, Access and PowerPoint
• Ability to engage and manage stakeholder relationships and expectations
• Sound communication, negotiating and influencing skills
• Experience identifying and resolving data quality issues
