Job Description

Our client, a well known organization with multiple offices across the country are looking for Service Desk Technicians to join a growing team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide level 1/2 technical support on all IT matters.
  • Analyse and correct technical issues relating to hardware/ software applications.
  • For matters requiring urgent care, escalate to senior level support in a timely manner.
  • Installation and config of computers, phones, and other devices as needed.
  • Keep a complete inventory of hardware and software.

Experience Required

  • 2+ years in a helpdesk/ support role.

Essential and Desirable Skills

  • Working knowledge of:
    • Computer hardware
    • Network printers
    • Active director (users/ group policies)
    • Windows OS
  • Excellent networking knowledge in:
    • LAN, WAN
    • VPNs, TCP/IP
    • Switches and cabling
  • Previous helpdesk experience.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to educate others on IT issues both in person and in a remote capacity.
  • Citrix knowledge and Microsoft Certs a distinct advantage.

Educational Requirements

  • 3rd level degree in IT or related field. Relevant experience in lieu.

Working Hours & Benefits

  • 37.5 hours per week
