Job Description

Kildare based client is looking for a Level 1 Support Technician to join their team on a permanent basis

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the provision of quality technical support service to the end users
  • Ensure best practice is followed as it related to IT security, including the support and maintenance of the local and Wide area networks
  • Work as part of a team on the IT Helpdesk providing support for 180 users

Experience Required

  • At least 1 years’ proven experience as a computer technician or similar role
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail

Essential and Desirable Skills

  • MS Exchange
  • WAN & LAN networks
  • Firewalls
  • Virtual environments
  • Windows 7
  • Varied business applications

Educational Requirements

  • Diploma in Computer Science, IT Degree, or equivalent

Working Hours

  • 9am-5pm
