Job Description

My Dublin based client within the Utilities Sector is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join their team.

As the MLOps Engineer, you will have the unique opportunity of working on my clients internal intelligence platform which helps to identify and solve the most complicated power management challenges by integrating connectivity, design, data science and cybersecurity.

Job Responsibilities

  • Help with the designing and developing of the clients Intelligence Platform;
  • Create the process, tools & infrastructure to enable data science analytics pipelines;
  • Provide mentorship to junior staff; and
  • Responsible for end-to end delivery of solutions from requirements gathering to production.
  • Opportunity for the candidate to work on other areas that may interest them including DevSecOps, Data Engineering and Machine Learning.

Experience Required

  • Proficient in at least one major programming language e.g python, java;
  • 6+ years of experience;
  • Experience in the development of Rest API’s and microservices; and
  • Knowledge of Big Data tools such as Kafka, Hadoop, Datalake and Apache Airflow.
