My Dublin City Centre based client is recruiting for a Lead Software Developer to work on a very exciting project. This role is on a permanent basis.

My Dublin City Centre based client is recruiting for a Lead Software Developer to work on a very exciting project. This role is on a permanent basis. This role will involve building webex extension for Via Cisco Webex for some exciting clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a passionate team to plan, build, and maintain the full stack of features for a market leading remote collaboration platform. (Webex the world’s leading collaboration (Meetings) Platform)
  • Participate in the full life cycle of a build including functional specifications, work estimates, design, development, automated testing, bug resolution and deployment
  • Work with frontend technologies such as JavaScript , JQuery, Vue, Bootstrap, HTML5 at Rockstar level.
  • Work with backend technologies such as Node.Js, Express, MySQL at Rockstar level
  • Extremely comfortable working with Modern APIs (particularly Webex APIs)
  • Ability to design solutions that scale, are secure and easy to maintain.

Experience Required

  • Extremely Proficient JavaScript,Jquery developer.
  • Extremely Proficient with Node.Js
  • Highly Experienced working with Rest APIs.
  • Strong technical design and development skills
  • Linux
  • Experience with Modern databases
  • An excellent understanding of HTML and CSS and Bootstrap / Responsive layouts
  • Knowledge of Chrome and other browsers debugging tools & front-end best practices
  • CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
  • Versioning tools such as Git.

Essential and Desirable Skills

  • Experience with agile methodologies and approaches (Agile, Kanban)
  • Experience with collaboration technologies including video and audio streaming.
  • Experience with rapid prototyping
  • Experience with Azure
  • Experience writing software for heavily regulated/high security environments.
  • Web application security, AAS, Passport, OAuth, API tokens etc.
  • Experience in cloud preferably api/script-level cloud infrastructure management
  • CI/CD
  • Monitoring/performance/availability skills and experience
  • Express server
  • Experience working with web sockets.

Educational Requirements

  • Third level qualification in Computer Science or a related discipline
