Job Description

A leading Technology firm based in Dublin South/ D18 is looking for a Lead Java Developer. The role will involve 60% hands on Developing and 40% Lead/ Design work.

The core technologies are: Java/ J2EE/ Spring/ AWS/ Angular). The client promotes home working one day per week and operates flexi-time and excellent working conditions. The salary is up to 90k plus bonus/ pension/ healthcare and 25 days leave and extra that are a real sweetner.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead Developer for the Java Product team – 60% hands on Developing and 40% Lead/ Design work

Experience Required

  • 8-10 years’ plus in a Java Development team
  • Excellent experience Core and Enterprise Java, Spring, AWS, Angular ReactJS
  • Full experience of the development life cycle – right from gathering requirements through development and testing to on-going support.
  • Experience with Cloud or AWS technologies is important
  • Strong Agile methodology experience.
  • A strong ‘can-do’ attitude and takes initiative as a self-starter;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Essential and Desirable Skills

  • Experience working in the a Financial Technology sector

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field
