Job Description

My Dublin city centre based client is currently looking for a Linux / Kubernates Systems Engineer to join their current DevOps team.

You will be working alongside the team and heling with the Installation, Administration, tuning and monitoring of all upgrade and software tools for the client.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Installation, technical administration, tuning, monitoring and upgrading of the Software
  • Work on the Container platforms supporting the deployment of Kubernetes and Docker based applications.
  • Work on monitoring technologies such as Grafana and Splunk to help improve the reliability of the technology platform.

Experienced Required:

  • 5 years’ experience working on Linux based systems
  • Ability to work with business users, consultants, and application developers
  • Knowledge of Grafana/ SPlunk and Maven/ Gradle/ Groovy
  • Strong RESTful API development
  • Experience with the Confluence Application suite primarily Jira
  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
  • Passion and drive for operational excellence, a good team player and excellent communications skills

Essential and Desirable Experience:

  • Essential that you have strong background in Automating of tasks to increase quality and scale

Educational Requirements:

  • Must hold a minimum of a degree level qualification
