Junior IT Helpdesk Engineer

Our Dublin Southside based client (near Dundrum Shopping centre) are looking for an enthusiastic Junior IT support engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will hold a full clean driving license and would be looking to take the first steps into their IT career. This role will be field, and office based and will allow the hired candidate to gain a lot of industry experience. The role will offer a recent  Graduate or Junior IT Support Engineer the training and support to move to the next level. The company will provide a company vehicle but you must hold a full driving license. If successful you will be part of a SME client and part of a family type business environment.

Role Responsibilities

• Support Windows Server 2012/2016/2019
• Installation of Windows Servers, Deploying in live environments.
• Supporting Microsoft exchange (Office365)
• Previous experience working with firewalls
• Some networking knowledge including constructs and configurations
• Prior knowledge of Wireless Devices
• Ability to diagnose and resolve networking issues.

Experience Required

• Candidate Must hold Full Clean Driving license
• Excellent Communication skills both written and verbal
• Previous experience supporting Windows Server 2012/2016/2019
• Knowledge of Microsoft exchange support (Office365 or on-premises Exchange)
• Knowledge and experience working with Ticketing systems

Educational Requirements

• A recognised Certification OR Third level Diploma or Higher
